BSI Cyber Risk Check:
The BSI Cyber Risk Check is a method that enables companies to determine their current state of information security. It is a systematic review that identifies vulnerabilities and potential threats within the IT infrastructure. The check helps companies identify risks, define measures to improve their information security, and minimize the likelihood of cyberattacks. This check is not an extensive certification but a quick assessment of the company’s IT security position.
The goals are:
- Identifying vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure and processes
- Assessing the current state of the company’s information security
- Providing recommendations for reducing risks and vulnerabilities
The BSI Cyber Risk Check consists of an 1-2 hour interview in which we ask your company about 27 IT security requirements. Based on the DIN SPEC 27076, points are awarded. Your company will then receive a report with a score and prioritized recommendations.
Process:
- In an initial discussion, personnel and time requirements, as well as costs and points of contact, are determined.
- During the interview, all 27 requirements are reviewed to assess the current state.
- Based on the interview responses, an evaluation with a score and, if applicable, action recommendations is created.
- In a final presentation, the closing report is presented and delivered.
